Transitions Cook from Business Development to West Region Sales Leadership Role

Cook will lead West Region sales efforts for the company as Senior Vice President, West Region. Cook joined Intelisys in 2014 as Senior Vice President, Business Development, and has since delivered exceptional results on several key projects and programs, including the tech services distributor’s international expansion.

Prior to his tenure with Intelisys, Cook served as Channel Chief for EarthLink Business and New Edge Networks, and held the role of Vice President for TelePacific Communications. In his new role as SVP, West Region, Cook leads a strategic business development function, leading Intelisys Sales Partners to new levels of achievement and success. He will lead and support an established West Region team that includes Senior Managers of Strategic Partner Development Samantha Burkhalter and Chris Oppold, as well as Bob Faber and Steve Robb from the Intelisys Cloud Services and Complex Bids team.

Cook brings a wealth of experience leading both regional and national programs, as well as a deep understanding of strategic channel enablement, to his new role with Intelisys. His successes as SVP Business Development, including bringing the lucrative Verizon Renewal Program—which allowed Intelisys Sales Partners to renew and upsell existing Verizon customers, including previously protected Enterprise Accounts—have positioned him as the ideal candidate to drive increased value for Intelisys’ Sales Partners and Supplier Partners as SVP, West Region.
